Indian Hf Cow
An adult Indian HF cow can be availed by dairy farmers situated anywhere in India. Identified by the black and white patches on the body, this cow can be kept in clean stable, on grassland or in mixed farming system, depending on farmer to farmer. This breed lives comfortably in both, low-lying and high-lying areas. In order to ensure the high production capacity of Indian HF cow, the dairy farmer must keep them in comfortable agro-ecological area, so that it can be prevented against diseases. This cow is less tolerant to heat and can have different adaptation ability. When this breed of cow is cross-bred with natural breed, the calve is better tolerant to heat.
